Old Wheels And Moving Forward

I haven't been blogging photos because...I am a little embarrassed... I forgot the email AND the password for this account! The good news is, after HOURS, of searching and inputting emails and passwords, I FINALLY got a combo that works! YAY me! Now, for these photos... This is a fence of old wheels! You can adopt a wheel to help maintain the fences' upkeep. I filtered them with a 1960's filter and absolutely love them! I took them at an old barn that has been redone as an art gallery! You can find many different artists there renting space and selling their pieces. It is in the Pallouse in Washington state. If you look closely in the first photo you can see the other side of the fence through the wheel. It has come to my attention, as of late, that I should strive for speechless in my art. I agree. So, while, I know these photos aren't of the speechless category... I wanted to start somewhere.

Thank you, you know who you are, for the inspiration........

A New Spot On Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was such a beautiful day this year I wanted to get out and take some new photos of my kiddos. So, I went to a new spot (thanks Kam) and wouldn't you know it the light was great and my kids had resigned themselves to letting me take their pics... what good kids! :)

My son is getting so big! Just last week I had the sad realization that he is taller than me! He had to look down a little bit to say, "Good morning Mom." Wow, I am not sure how I feel about that, but what can a mom do?

My daughter is a great sport when it comes to getting pics of her. She does what I say and makes it look so natural. She is a beauty inside and out!

Here they are, my kids. They are two of the best people I have ever met. They are kind, considerate, and helpful. I am a blessed momma!

A Dreamer... and a new tattoo.

I was asked by a friend (and beautician, Heather from Hair International) to do a session for her nephew. She said he is an aspiring model. I thought, "That's cool!" So we made a plan. I asked my little sister to help out - she did a great job but, she will never have a lighting job! :)

This is Justin. He is a great kid and was fun to work with. He did everything we asked with a sense of humor and a great smile! Th
anks Justin for being willing to be cold, just cold....never purple!! :)

Enjoy.

5 Year Pics and A Little Trespassing...

This is my cousin's oldest daughter, Katelyn. She is a beautiful 5 year old as you can see.
We took these pics at one of my favorite spots and yes, we were trespassing... a little... Katelyn asked at the end of the session, when she hears sirens, if it was the police coming! She is a smart cookie... not to worry it was a fire truck going past where we were.
She did a great job doing everything I asked her to do. It was a fun session!

Thanks, Suz, for another beautiful session of photographing your kiddos.... now for the hard part...deciding which ones to print! Good luck!
